East River Ferry to Williamsburg

Alexander and Kate come to visit!

Rory and I were lucky to have some more visitors in May when Alexander and Kate came to visit. With only a weeks notice this was a great surprise and a welcome one!

With an excellent, fun packed and thought out itinary in hand we managed to have a very productive weekend together. Drinks and dinner in Williamsburg, Yoga in the Upper East Side, the Museum of Modern Art, a nightout in East Village and a run through Central Park were all part of one of the best weekends I have had since I arrived in NYC.

Ping Pong in Bryant Park

Celebrity Spotting!

After some Friday after work drinks Rory and I bumped into 'Shooter McGavin' from the film Happy Gilmore, and Tom Hanks. Both seemed like top chaps!

Highline

While in Chelsea we walked along the renowned High Line Park, which is a disused, elevated railway track redesigned and landscaped as an aerial greenway.

Flatiron Building

On Saturday 20th April Rory, Lennart and I set out for a day of exploring. The plan was to explore Chelsea/meatpacking district, Greenwich Village.

Our starting point after our subway ride from Queens to Manhattan was the Flatiron Building!
