On the way to Brooklyn Bridge Park

On this sunny saturday we made our way to Brooklyn to visit the park there.

Some of the best views of Manhattan can be seen there. Also took alot of pictures of the buildings/apartments that enjoy these views.

At the fitba!

This weekend Rory's brother Lewis and his friend Niall came to visit.

On Saturday we went to watch New York Red Bulls FC play DC United at soccer!

Although no goals were scored it was a great match to watch and one of my favourite players Thierry Henry was playing for the NYRBs.

Everyone loved the kilt!

Best Diner ever! I really like this Diner!

Just up from the MoMA ps1 art gallery near our flat we found this diner.

Best food I have had since arriving. Amazing avocado omelettes! Anyone who visits me will be brought here.

Yesterday I was there for dinner at 5pm and after coming home from  visiting Williamsburg last night I decided to go for my breakfast at 5am before bed.

Running photos

I have been trying to keep up my running routine since I have been here in NYC.

Its been difficult with how busy I have been with work and moving etc but last week was alot better and a managed a couple of runs after work.

However it is quite difficult to break a sweat when stopping to take photos every 5 minutes.

Communitea Sundays!

Its becoming a Sunday routine of mine to head to this cafe around the corner called Communitea.

I ordered a green tea when I first went and was presented with a menu with over 20 different kinds!

Weekend in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

After first week of work we decided to visit Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a couple of nights out.
10 minutes on the G train from LIC, its a great place with some amazing bars and views of Manhattan.
After a late night friday we headed back Saturday where I had my first ever bloody mary. A great perk me up! As you can see from the photo, I loved it!
We also visited the Radegast Beerhouse which is where I got my litre glass beers.
