The three of us took a wander round to Columbia University, which is situated in Morningside Heights.
After unsuccessfully trying to get passed the security into the library, we managed to sneak into the architecture school where I got a photo of a model of Gerrit Rietveld's 'Rietveld Schroeder' House in Utrecht, Netherlands. Built in 1924, very modern, especially for its time.
In order to have a proper tour and access to the University facilities we would have had to been enrolled at the university or one of its international associates univerities. Unfortunately the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen hasn't got round to organising this yet!
