After our first night in the new flat I went out for my first run around LIC, NYC. 5 minute walk from flat, at the end of our road, is the Gantry Plaza State Park. A new landscaped park on the edge of Long Island City, it has some of the best views of Manhattan. Directly accross is the UN Building and there is also great views of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building and also the Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island which was designed by Louis Kahn in 1972 and completed in 2012.
